One of the more sought after watches of the American forces in WWII with its unusual screw down crown, it is instantly recognizable. If only watches could talk, this particular piece would have one hell of a story to tell.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to crown and ratchet wheel; excellent-plus dial with light surface spotting and discolored lume indices; excellent hands with discolored luminous material; unpolished case shows light wear, plating loss on lug edges, no dents or dings; original canteen crown shows light wear, good threads; original lead sealed glass crystal with ample surface scratches.
